Research Description: The Community Events plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'ce_venue_name' CSV field in the `on_save_changes_venues` function in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.8. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied CSV data and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database via a crafted CSV file upload.
Affected versions: max 1.5.9.
