- Spectra Gutenberg Blocks – Website Builder for the Block Editor [ultimate-addons-for-gutenberg] < 2.3.3 Spectra – WordPress Gutenberg Blocks <= 2.3.1 - Cross-Site Request Forgery to Plugin Activation The Spectra – WordPress Gutenberg Blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 2.3.1 This is due to missing nonce validation on the activate_plugin function called via an AJAX action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to activate arbitrary plugins, via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
