Research Description: Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress [wp-user-avatar] < 4.11.0 ProfilePress <= 4.10.3 - Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via error message The ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the error parameter in versions up to, and including, 4.10.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Affected versions: max 4.11.0.
